Back from Evacuation

We were able to go back home on Thursday, but we actually didn't get home until last night because of a trip that I'll write about later.

We were staying at Matt's late grandma's house with his younger brother and his brother's room-mate. It was a pretty big house, so it was nice to have a bit of privacy and stuff.
There wasn't internet access over there, though.

Keita was crabby almost the whole time. He was sick until about last Sunday, and then he wasn't eating much at all since he threw up back on Thursday, so we somehow made him eat a little bit. That night he woke up sick, but then the next day he seemed back to his normal self.
He kept wanting to go home and whined a lot, though. But I don't blame him, because I felt the same!

Our apartment building wasn't flooded or anything. They just had us leave in case, and they had to shut the water off in the building.
Hopefully we won't have to evacuate again later! They're thinking the river will rise again at the end of this month.
